MANUFACTURE

Tile contains clay, quartz and kaolin mixed prescription sludge. Shaped in different techniques. After drying and retouching, the primer, which is called primer, is extracted from quality quartz and clay to give the body whiteness and depth after glazing. The dried forms are baked at 1000-1100 ºC and semi-finished products called biscuits are obtained.

By mixing the raw materials used in certain proportions, three types of blends called "Wheel", "Casting" and "Press" are prepared.

In the wheel blend; flat wall plate, vase, flower pot and sugar bowl, casting blend; trinket, cup, plate and ashtray, press blend; flat or patterned wall plates are made. The raw materials from the quarries are first ground and mixed dry with lighter in a mill. Plastic raw materials are blended and left in the pools for 1-2 days, then passed through a sieve or cloth and rested for 20-25 days. Non-plastic raw materials are also boiled and filtered and added to the blend. The rested blend is poured into gypsum molds after the closed water is removed or spread on the old oven plates. Thus, the ratio of water in the composition of the blend to the ratio of water in the composition of the plastics is equalized. The casting blend is usually prepared in the impeller blend in the mills. In some workshops, lighter stone is added to the wheel blend in certain proportions. The press blend is prepared dry.

Drying is done on shelves indoors in winter and outdoors in summer. Plates are glazed by spraying, other products are dipped.

Cylindrical ovens made up of bricks of various sizes consist of fire households and baking sections. The shelves were dried in the cooking compartment. The firing is controlled from the "Eye" window of the cooking section on both sides of the household section. The cooking temperature reaches 800 - 950 degrees in 11-14 hours. "Double Cooking" is applied, the first one being at a lower temperature. The paints used in tile making are supplied from domestic and foreign sources.

Patterns transferred on the biscuit are irritated, painted, covered with a glass layer we call glaze. Glazed tiles are glazed firing at about 870-1000 ºC and the pattern is covered with glassy transparent glaze.
